Field Guide and Recovery Coach

Hi, I’m Dustin. I grew up camping, surfing, fishing, and rock climbing. These things have been a huge factor in my own wellbeing. My focus as a coach is to help people find ways to connect with happiness and live healthy authentic lifestyles. My ‘superpower’ so to speak, is my relatability to youth and young adults.

I am able to come alongside people and guide them to reach their individual goals. I use my education and life experience to teach people life skills, recovery skills, and if they are open to it, spiritual connection.

I was introduced to the healing aspects of wilderness experientials through my 15 years of youth ministry work with Young Life. Since 2003, I have facilitated wilderness excursions for many churches and addiction treatment centers.

As a field guide and coach at Collaborative Care Counseling, I get to join my passion for helping people struggling with addiction with my passion for outdoor adventure.
